Thesis Statement for World Hunger Essay

It goes without saying that, around the world, and also in the United States, there is a hunger problem with the poverty stricken. To combat the issue within our country, the United States government has instituted two main programs to assist with providing adequate, nutritionally filled meals for the youth of these families. These programs, the WIC and Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program, otherwise known as SNAP and popularly referred to as the “Food Stamp” program, help lower-income and no-income families and, in turn, alleviate their worry about future financial hardship due to the added obligation of buying groceries.
